About
ØNIZΛL is a musical guide exploring how sound moves us physically, emotionally, and spiritually. His journey has taken him from illegal techno parties in France to spiritual communities in Latin America and Asia. Today, he creates immersive musical experiences designed for introspection, celebration, and divine connection.
Early Years: Minimal Techno & Vinyl (2000–2010)
Born in Marseille, France, in 1986, ØNIZΛL grew up surrounded by classical piano, reggae, and French hip-hop. At 14, while friends listened to radio pop music, he immersed in electronic music at a time where the French touch was booming with artists like Daft Punk, David Guetta and Bob Sinclar.
By 16, he began mixing on vinyl, diving more and more into minimal techno and faster BPMs. Big inspirations included Paul Kalkbrenner, Modeselektor, Ricardo Villalobos, James Holden, Nathan Fake... as well as French legends Laurent Garnier, Miss Kittin, Vitalic, and Oxia.
As a teenager, he was already working at large techno festivals, and playing at private parties to bring people together and share his love of electronic music.
USA: Dubstep & Bass Music (2010–2012)
In 2010, ØNIZΛL moved to the US at the start of dubstep’s boom. He embraced digital mixing using Traktor and controllers, mastering harmonic mixing and exploring bass-heavy sounds.
He drew inspiration from artists like Bassnectar, Skrillex, Flux Pavilion, Rusko, Borgore, and Excision. At this time, ØNIZΛL organized events that allowed him to experience the crazy energy that music can create on the dancefloor.
London: Jungle, Drum & Bass, and Community (2012–2014)
In 2012, ØNIZΛL relocated to London, diving deeper into underground music culture. He had his own 2-kilowatt sound system, hosting squat parties focused on jungle and drum & bass. His style was heavily influenced by artists like Benny Page, Top Cat, Congo Natty, Serial Killaz...
He also fell in love with liquid drum & bass from Netsky, High Contrast, London Elektricity, Camo & Krooked and others key artists on Hospital Records.
Living in a warehouse community with 17 other artists, he was surrounded by continuous creativity.
Spain: Latin Dance & Psytrance Festivals (2016–2022)
Moving to Spain in 2017 broadened ØNIZΛL’s musical horizons further. He fell deeply into Latin dance culture - salsa, bachata, reggaeton, and trap music - listening to artists like Bad Bunny and J Balvin, as well as salsa legends Marc Anthony, Willy Colón, and Joe Arroyo.
Simultaneously, he connected with Spain’s psytrance festival scene, listening to artists like Astrix, Merkaba, and Infected Mushroom. The combination of Latin rhythms and psychedelic festivals shaped his perspective on how different cultures approach movement, and connection.
Global Travels: Ecstatic Dance & Ceremony (2020–Today)
Since 2020, ØNIZΛL’s musical path has taken a deeply spiritual direction. Traveling through conscious communities in Mazunte (Mexico), Portugal, the Canary Islands, and Koh Phangan (Thailand), he integrated diverse cultural influences into his music. He was particularly inspired by conscious artists like Mose and Sam Garrett, and the world bass sounds of producers like CloZee and Savej.
Today, ØNIZΛL crafts two distinct experiences: DJ sets (1 to 3 hours) for ecstatic dance, and immersive ceremonial journeys (5 to 8 hours) that blend melodic introspection with high-energy trance. He carefully balances dreamy atmospheres with powerful rhythms, guiding dancers through states of both gentle flow and profound release.
He also facilitates the workshop Divine Dance, blending solo and partner movement with ritual elements to deepen participants’ connection to themselves, each other, and the sacred.
