For Producers Festivals Retreats

Turn a room of strangers into a tribe by the end of the night.

I'm Antonin Cohen, a DJ and ecstatic dance facilitator. You're organising an event and you want something that goes deeper than a DJ set. That's what the Onizal Dance does.

— What I bring —

A 4-hour ecstatic dance experience in five phases.

Designed to take a group from opening ceremony through freeform ecstasy and gently back to ground. One continuous arc.

I
Phase One
The Ritual
Cacao or Blue Lotus ceremony. Collective breath. Spoken intentions. The container gets built. The space becomes sacred because we make it so together.
30 min
II
Phase Two
The Solo Journey
Breathwork, Qigong, whirling, shaking. The body wakes up. Each participant meets themselves before they meet anyone else.
30 min
III
Phase Three
The Tribe
Non-verbal consent practice. Partner work. Eye gazing. Polarity. Contact. Circles. This is where strangers become tribe. The part most ecstatic dances skip.
30 min
IV
Phase Four
The Dance
Freeform ecstatic dance held by a carefully shaped sound journey. Shamanic grounding rhythms into heart-opening melodies into high-energy ecstatic beats. Everything learned in the workshop comes alive on the dance floor.
1h 45 min
V
Phase Five
The Landing
Sound bath on the floor. Bowls, voice, gong. A singing circle to close if the night holds it. The nervous system settles, the tribe shares voice once more. People leave integrated, not activated.
30–45 min

I facilitate phases one through three, DJ the fourth, and hold the sound bath in the fifth. The whole thing flows as one continuous arc.

Format options — the full Onizal Dance is 4 hours, but I adapt to the event.

2–3 hours

Sound journey only

The ecstatic dance without the preceding workshop. A carefully crafted wave from grounding to ecstasy. Works for festivals with tight scheduling, late-night slots, or audiences already familiar with ecstatic dance.

Ceremonial journey

The full Onizal Dance extended with deeper plant medicine ceremony, longer integration, and additional group work. For intimate retreats and experienced groups.

What it looks like in practice

A room of 30–200 people. Barefoot. No alcohol. Candles if the space allows it. Music moving through tribal, organic, medicine, electronic, devotional, bass.

By the end of the night, people who walked in alone are hugging people they met three hours ago. Someone is crying in the corner and being held by a stranger. Someone else is spinning with their eyes closed, grinning. The room is one body.

This is what happens when you give people the tools to connect, then give them two hours of music to practice with.

Who books this

i
Conscious music festivals
Boom, Agape Zoe, Evolve, and similar. The Onizal Dance fits afternoon or pre-party slots where depth is welcome.
ii
Wellness & yoga retreats
Multi-day retreats that want a group bonding experience beyond talking circles. The workshop phases accelerate intimacy in ways that conversation can't.
iii
Psychedelic retreats & integration spaces
Post-ceremony integration through movement. The dance floor becomes a space to process what the medicine opened.
iv
Private gatherings
Birthdays, weddings, team retreats, community celebrations. Any group of 15+ that wants to do something meaningful together.
v
Corporate retreats — experimental
For organisations open to something unconventional. The workshop phases teach non-verbal communication, trust-building, and presence. The dance teaches letting go. Both are useful skills.
