Ecstatic dance festival
A place to come together.
Black Forest Ecstatic Dance Camp takes the Freiburg dance community outdoors. Dancers camp together, with morning and evening ecstatic dances on a meadow and a programme that also includes yoga, contact improvisation, singing, and other movement workshops.
The organizers describe an intimate camp with space for forest time, campfires, and informal connection. Families are part of the gathering: the published programme includes a children’s space and activities during workshops. The next summer is planned as two shorter camps, with an option to stay throughout.
