From devotion to celebration.
Kareem Raïhani’s work grows out of both dance and music. With Dutch-Moroccan roots and training in contemporary dance in Amsterdam, he performed in theatre before turning his attention to guiding dance floors through sound.
His sets include his own productions and remixes alongside a broad range of dance music. Devotional material is part of that vocabulary, including his collaboration with David Lurey, Om Namo Bhagavate.
Alongside festival appearances, he plays for local ecstatic dance communities, including Oegstgeest in the Netherlands. SoundCloud offers a route into his mixes; Bandcamp is the place to explore and support his released music.
